Terms and Conditions

How it works

The giveaway will run on the JUNO Instagram and Facebook accounts.

  1. Duration and closing date: 1-24 December. Each day will feature a comment-to-win post for the respective prize. All slots will close on 2 January 2025 at midnight (GMT). Entries will be accepted until this deadline.

  2. Dates and entry deadline: A list of dates and allocated slots will be provided. Please let us know if you prefer a specific date. Slots are allocated first-come first-served.

  3. Prize requirements: There is no minimum RRP, but the prize should be relevant for our audience. Higher value or multiple prizes typically attract more entries. All prizes are subject to editorial approval. The aim is for this event to be fun, and to shine a light on sustainable brands who we believe will offer genuine value for JUNO families.

  4. Post content: We will create the artwork and copy for your prize post, and a draft will be shared ahead of publishing, so there is an opportunity to make edits and can check you are happy with everything.

  5. Promoting on your own channels: Your Instagram and Facebook accounts will be tagged in your giveaway posts and you will be invited to collaborate on the Instagram post (optional but encouraged for broader reach). Please promote your prize to your own networks to maximise engagement. If reposting, inform your audience that they must comment on the original post to enter.

  6. Entrant requirements: Entrants must leave a comment on the original post and follow both JUNO Magazine and your account (if you have one on the platform). Open to UK entrants only.

  7. Winner selection: Winners will be selected at random on 3 January 2025 using our competitions app.

  8. Qualifying winner(s): At the time of selection, we will check that the winner is following both JUNO Magazine and the partner's account, as per the entry requirements. However, it is important to note that we cannot guarantee that anyone will remain a follower. We can only confirm this at the time of checking. By booking a slot you understand this limitation, and agree to send the prize to the selected winner. 

  9. Closed accounts: If the winner(s) have a private Instagram or Facebook account, we will ask them to provide a screenshot as proof of following both JUNO Magazine and the partner's account.

  10. Re-selection: In the event a winner is disqualified or does not claim their prize before the deadline (two weeks from drawing), we reserve the right to re-select a new winner at random.

  11. Winner notification: We will contact winners to request their details for prize fulfilment. Please do not contact winners to notify them, as this can cause confusion.

  12. Prize fulfilment: We will share the winner(s) information with you (the advertiser) for prize delivery. You are responsible for prize fulfilment and covering postage costs. Prizes must be sent out as soon as is reasonably possible, and not later than 28 days after the name and address of the winner is sent.

  13. Post-event data: Engagement stats and data from your post will be emailed to you.

Compliance with Meta Rules

  • Free entry: no purchase is necessary.
  • By participating, entrants agree to release Meta from any responsibility. Each post’s copy will include the line: “This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta.

  • Prohibited actions: Participants must not be required to share, repost, tag others, or otherwise publicise the promotion as a condition of entry.
  • Personal data: Entrants' personal data will only be used for prize fulfilment purposes and not for marketing or other purposes without explicit consent. Participants will be informed and must consent to any data collection.

    • Your Facebook handle

Key dates

  • 8 November 2024: We will share drafts of posts by this date.
  • 15 November 2024: Please send any edits by this date.
  • 1 December 2024: Giveaway starts
  • Throughout December: In addition to the posts on Facebook and Instagram, we will promote the giveaway to our stories throughout December, in print in the Winter issue (on sale 1 December), and in our Friday newsletters with a round-up of prizes available each week.
  • 3 January 2025: Winners are drawn and contacted (by us), and announced to our Instagram and Facebook stories (we will tag you).  
  • 6 January 2025 onwards: We will share results and winner(s) details with you for prize fulfilment. It may take more time to share winner(s) details if re-selection needs to take place.

We do not offer any guarantees for numbers of new followers or entries – this will vary depending on the prize offered and how this resonates with our audience.
